I really love the colours, can almost feel the emotions from your gorgeous sunrise photos. Sounds like you need some rest time for You! Thanks for all your hard work to provide so much free for us quilters, it is appreciated. You are a special person. Hope Sadie recovers quickly, those sad brown eyes are killer! Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

Cant wait to get started, love the colors. New Ruler shows to be Out of Stock, can you get on waiting list for ruler?

Does anyone know what the color numbers are at Ace? I don't have a Lowes near me. Can't figure it out online. Thanks.

Thank you, Bonnie. I've been patiently waiting for fabric directions. Just bought all my fabric. I'm getting much better at "scrappy". My first Bonnie (Lazy Sunday from Quiltmaker) I used only one fabric of each color choice. My second Bonnie (EnProvence) I used three fabrics of each color way. This time, I've stepped it up to five of each color way. Can't wait to get started.

The post above under "Jeffrey" is actually me. I didn't realize it would go in under his name. Hope you all enjoy making this year's mystery. Can't wait to see how my fabrics come together and the beautiful quilt at the end.

I'm in for this first time. I need a peaceful diversion from real life. This will be good therapy.

Ringo lake is close to the lake where my family had their cabin for more than 50 years - Norway Lake. Dad proposed to Mom there, I went there every summer, and I cried when my Aunt & Uncle sold the property a few years ago. It is a lovely part of Minnesota. Although I want to make this, I don't have much fabric in these colors - especially the orangeish colors. Thank you for honoring our state with the mystery quilt this year! It was such a joy to have you here.

I may have to make one without waiting to see how it comes out (which I have done for several of your mysteries - leading up to Christmas does not give me enough time to work on one), as I long ago made a quilt top in a similar color range (minus the browns). I loved that quilt but never finished it (I don't "do" peach) until a mother of a good friend (who has dementia - the mother, that is) asked me to make a quilt for her. The quilt was an early quilt in Quiltmaker called December Morn (I think).

I decided to quilt that top for her, so now I need a quilt for me in that color range.

For Sandy V. The paint chip numbers will be the same at any store or dealer that sells Valspar paint.

Hi Bonnie, I am new to Quiltville, I host a Saturday Bee and have been sewing with the same gals for about 15 years. The past couple of years a few of them worked on 2 projects at once, I was like what? Leaders and enders they called them...you know Bonnie Hunter...so I looked at the books...bought them, and got all my scraps cut and organized. I have not really had time to sew this year, personally its a tough year, I have filed for divorce. During a summer quilt retreat, that is my only vacation for fun right now, a few girls were working on this mystery quilt, huh I said, they said you know, Bonnie Hunter, I was hooked again and vowed to do the mystery quilt this year it will be my first one...and I printed my clues, I will read, re-read and watch my cutting...Thank you for posting the first clue, could not wait to get up this morning and read the clue with my morning coffee...and tomorrow is the last bee of the year...I know what I will be doing...and some of my bee goers too...I will try and post photos...Happy Thanksgiving and happy sewing everyone...

Thank you, Bonnie! I can't believe it but this is my 7th year doing the mystery quilt, since Orca Bay. It has become a holiday tradition for me. I love your sense of design and color, and the way you use scraps is very liberating. Blessings on you and yours this season, and thank you for your generosity to the quilting community!

Thank you for taking the time to host this quilting event at a difficult time in your life. This is the 2nd mystery quilt sew along I will be doing with you and your quilting family. Last year was my first and I learned so much that has helped me with every quilt I have made since then. I really appreciate and enjoy the tips you give. I am in my 4th year of quilting and I am always eager to learn. Again thank you.

Hello, how are you? It's my first project, and I'm loving it. I wonder if you can send the rules to Brazil? I tried to buy from Amazon, but I did not find all of them. It's possible?

Hi Bonnie, Thanks for this mystery On Ringo Lake. I got part 2 now. The side link in blue didn't work but went to the link at the top and then got it from there.

Had a ton of green scraps, so it is a substitute for the aqua. Seems to be working well with the brown and coral. Thanks Bonnie. Love doing these. Kaye
