Have a marvelous Quilting Weekend, everyone!

As this goes live, we are on our way to West Jefferson, NC to close on Quilt Villa, VA!  This dream is finally coming true – I can scarcely believe it.

I won’t have internet at the new place until late Monday, possibly Tuesday.  Phone connection is also very iffy up there, so if you don’t hear from me for a few days, don’t worry about it, just keep watching those free episodes and go QUILT SOMETHING!

Quiltville Quote of the Day!

Vintage Wheel of Fortune quilt shared by a student in Grand Haven, MI this week.

It might be comfortable within our own comfort zones – but we’ve got to push a bit if we want to grow!

Have a wonderful weekend, Everyone!

  1. Thanks for the chance to win! Good luck with your closing and the moving in! I know you are looking forward to some time in the quiet of the mountains, and Sadie will enjoy having new trails to explore. Don't worry about us and internet! You deserve some time alone with the hubster....

  5. Thinking of you today, Bonnie, as you close on Quilt Villa VA.

Am I the only one having trouble registering for the big drawing? I got messages saying that the website for Step 2 couldn't be found and since I tried more than once to register, I'm pretty sure I'll be eliminated for trying to register more than once.

  18. Congratulations on closing to make Quilt Villa VA a reality. You deserve every happiness for you and your family. You have given so much to all of us. Since step 2 isn't working are we still entered in the drawing?

  19. I'm entered...it took a couple dozen tries to chose a "name" that hadn't been chosen before, but I finally was accepted. It seems to be a very busy site & that could account for problems entering the contest. I was lucky to chose a time frame that was able to accept my entry. Keep trying...kind of like attempts to get those corners matched....keep trying.

  20. Bonnie, I'm so excited about the new cabin! Congratulations!

For those having problems with "STEP 2", try going to your internet settings and temporarily remove the POP UP blocker. Once I did this, the link worked.

  24. I was able to get step 2 to work, but it was incredibly slow. The site must be experiencing a lot of traffic! Good luck on closing and best wishes on your new home away from home!

  25. Very excited for the closing on your QuiltVilla Virginia! I waited out Step 2 -- went and checked email and came back. Lots of traffic I imagine on The Quilt Show site today -- exercising my patience muscle!! Enjoy being techno free for a bit. Hugs, Allison in Plano Texas USA

  26. Good Luck today, Bonnie!
This quote is so true. A Few years ago, I said I was never going to do Paper Piecing, now I do and Love it! I also never thought I would do Machine embroidery, as I do hand embroidery (Since I was 8 ), now I do, and Love it. I have learned so much in the quilting world in the last 7 years, and I keep growing with each project I do.

Happy sewing and watching videos this weekend, everyone.

    Thank You. Bonnie!

  34. Thank for the chance to win those awesome prizes. Good Luck on the closing, and the move. I lost internet for days when my router decided to die, and at first I hated it, I felt like something was missing but I got use to it, and was actually shocked at how productive I was without interruptions. I think you are going to love it once you get use to it. I do have one question I entered the give away but then when I click on step 2 it take me to a page that says this: Error displaying the error page: Application Instantiation Error: Could not connect to MySQL. So I don't know how I am going to be able to watch any shows if I cannot get to the site. I tried clicking on the actual site too I get the same message. Just my luck...
